Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the software products published by PainKiller Labs ("we", "us"), including Ezsay, Language Match and Liquid Relay (each, a "Service"). By creating an account or using a Service, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

PainKiller Labs is a business registered in Canada. It is the publisher of, and the party responsible for, each Service listed on this site. Contact: rh@pklabs.ca.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without your permission. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you must not use a Service on behalf of someone who has been barred from it.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use a Service to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, send unsolicited bulk messages, attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts, interfere with other users, or resell access without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does these things, and we will tell you why.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload, write or store in a Service. You grant us only the permission we need to operate the Service for you - storing, processing, backing up and displaying your content back to you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train models. If a Service sends your content to a third-party provider in order to function, that is described in the privacy policy.

5. Our content

The software, design, trademarks and documentation are ours. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. Nothing here transfers ownership.

6. Paid plans

Prices for each plan are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current period. Refunds are governed by the refunds policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change affects your renewal.

7. Availability

We work to keep each Service running, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment on standard plans. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid Service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a pro-rated refund of any prepaid, unused period.

8. Disclaimers

Each Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some products carry specific limits on what they are for - notably, no PainKiller Labs product provides medical, legal, financial or academic-integrity advice, and output should be reviewed by you before you rely on it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or relating to a Service is limited to the amount you paid us for that Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using a Service and close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these terms, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will make a reasonable effort to let you export your content first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will give notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
